Year started at Downtown School: 2024

Path that brought you to DTS: After graduating from The University of Northern Iowa in 2020 I moved to Seattle, Washington where I started teaching with the Lake Washington School District. In LWSD, I worked as a 5th and then 2nd grade teacher. At the end of the 2022-2023 school year I decided to move back to Iowa and started working within Des Moines Public Schools as a Guest Educator. I am excited to be joining the Downtown School this year!

Favorite thing about Downtown School or education: Creating relationships with students and families!
