Downtown School Parents Social Night

Come and enjoy a casual, adults-only evening of music, conversation and community Friday, May 20 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Noce Jazz Cabaret, 1326 Walnut Street. There’s no cover charge and snacks are provided. Music is provided by “Asphalt and Stained Glass” featuring DTS parent Amy Wallman-Madden. The event is sponsored by the PTA.

DTS Students Teach Parents to Boogie Down

Downtown School parents were told to bring comfortable clothes and water bottles to the school’s latest culminating event. Students spent the last several months using their P.E. time to work with parent volunteer Jamie Seitz learning dances from throughout the decades. High Tech Meets Visitor Sign-In at Downtown

At DMPS, we work to ensure that students are receiving a great education in schools that are not only first-rate learning environments, but are also safe and secure. Student-led Parent/Teacher Conferences are essential to a student’s academic growth, so attendance is required. If you and your student(s) miss conferences, the district counts it as an unexcused absence. The students in Mr. Miller’s 2nd and 3rd grade class weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty at their Water Science Fair. From water density to how subs submerge, surface tension to rainbows in a box, students demonstrated their knowledge of that valuable resource we all use everyday!
