7/8 year old Learning Groups – Week of December 20th

The 7/8 year old students in Mr. Bruce Miller’s and Mrs. Jessica Watson’s learning groups are studying the cold and flu and visited Walgreens to learn more about medicines and the difference between the cold and flu.  Mrs. Rachelle Gerstal’s learning group has been studying nonfiction in reading and writing.  They are writing an expository piece about animals and for projects they are finishing libraries and will present after the holiday break.  Mrs. Lauren Miller’s and Mrs. Erika Buckner’s learning groups just presented their learning on the cold and flu.  For their culminating event the students diagnosed parents according to their symptoms to demonstrate their understanding of the difference between the cold and flu.
