It’s summer break for most students … but not all as The Downtown School and Edmunds Elementary continue to be in session for another week or two. But it’s not too early to have a little outdoor fun. DTS students gathered today at Brody Middle School for relay races, hula hooping and more as part of the school’s annual Field Day. Enjoy photos by clicking on the image.

Molly Sweeney co-authored “Transforming the Task with Number Choice”, published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Sweeney has a Masters of Elementary Education from Viterbo University. She teaches 9-10 year-olds and is involved with mathematics development for all grades at DTS.
