Downtown School operates with guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health when deciding whether students will be inside or outside for recess.

If the wind chill is above 15 degrees Fahrenheit, we will go outside.

Please remember to send your student to school with a heavy coat, gloves, and hat.

We want them to stay warm!
