The Future’s So Bright at Downtown School

Downtown students wore special shades, make pin hole cameras and watched NASA’s live stream as a new-in-their-lifetime event unfolded in front of them. Thank you to all of the parents and staff who donated glasses and treats, the teachers who incorporated this amazing event into their lesson plan and saw to the safety of our students, and to our amazing students for their enthusiasm, soaking up the celestial wonder of #Eclipse2017. Join Us for the All School Picnic

Get ready for an evening of fun with your DTS friends! Join us for the all-school picnic on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Union Park, 1801 Pennsylvania Ave. Bring the whole family and your own picnic dinner. The park has two playgrounds, but is most famous for the Rocket Slide and Heritage Carousel. See you there!
